off we went...

Its so natural of me to go off on a weekend trek or a Photography trip.. but this weekend was a maaa-baap of all weekends... had scheduled a heritage walk for the Sunday and was co-ordinating it when a friend called and said "Bunk office on Saturday... i have a plan".. and this was on Friday O_o..

just flashed on the Vacation responder, packed a spare Tee, dumped the cam into the back pack and off we went...

Friday, 9 00 pm: At the said friend's place...
Friday, 10 00 pm: Waiting for another friend...
Friday, 11 45 pm: Started atlast...
Saturday, 12 30 am: First Pit stop... roadside Garam Chai, Biscuits and water.. the best part - none of us 5 had had any sort of dinner the last nite... m/
Saturday 3 00 am: Reached Pondicherry.. a friend was hosting us.. slept till 6 am..
Saturday 6 00 am: Woke up to steaming hot Coffee...
Saturday 8 00 am: Bfast.. yipeee.. nothing like hot idlis and Vadas, especially wen it is raining horrendously outside...
Saturday 9 00 am: Hit the road again..

After this time and day came to a stand still... all our mobiles were switched off and watches went it to the.. errmm i dunno wr, still searching for it...

Just topped the Tank with Gas and off we went... next pit stop was for Lunch... but my third eye made me move on to a near by broken shack rather than the Food... it was click after click till we entered the lake... Yes!! Mangroves of Pitchavaram...

Best experience in months... ok Best after the Nagala Trek... Anyways it was awesome...  Saw the rain approach us from far and see it go across us.. got hit by undergrowths... lost a memory card, luckily the cam survived... got drenched to the Teeth... reached back to Pondichery by ermm i dunno, no Watch u see...

after a bad Dinner, i smoked... *for the first time* then drank alcohol *again a first time* ... strangely, didnt have a hangover or a bad taste in mouth wen i woke up at 7 next morning.. well its another issue that we slept by 6..

Sunday was another peek.. walking along the broad lanes of Pondichery, taking a wrong turn, getting lost, spotting Redheads... Had a great time... We even had time to attend a Coffee shop inauguration by our Host, this being the real reason for our trip Many clicks late we found it fit to leave back to the city...

the trekkers in us got the better of us on the way back.. we took a detour to Alampara Fort and its beach en route to the city...

Reached home by 9 pm Sunday...
